My entire family went on vacation so i stayed home to take care of the pets and work. Well the week started out great, my friend Lexie and i were staying here then Lavi and it was going to be just us three hanging out all week. Tuesday morning we were woken up at 230am to Tornado sirens going off till 300am then i had to be at work by 4am. Went to work, a few hours later i got news that from all the rain from the storm my downstairs was filling up with water, so i went home on my lunch only to find 2 to 3 inches of sewage starting to flow into my downstairs (which has carpet, furniture, etc.) So i got the water to start draining, whilst being soaked in the damn sewage myself, went back up to work to say i had to stay home and handle this, seeing as Lexie and i were the only ones there. Eventually my brother showed up to help, but it was just continual draining till the town got the life stations running again to drain it all. Meanwhile i decide from all the stress to go outside and smoke a cigarette, while doing so i see my dog near the edge of the high and fast flowing creek that is flooded from all the rain. Mind you that creek goes really fast when it is overflowing. So im freaking out because i think he will fall in, i go out there to get him turn around for two seconds look back and my dog is floating away downstream, so wtf do i do, i jump in to get him, i got him by the scruff of the kneck, but realize i cant hold him and myself up and we are both floating downstream. I was on the brink of letting him go so i could save myself, cause i couldnt fight the current or stay afloat. But thank god for a tree that was hanging over the water i smacked into, i held on and with all my strength and only using one arm i hoisted a 65 pound dog across the water to the front of the tree and by some miracle he found the bank of the creek, once he got up i hoisted myself up out of the water and broke down bawling. So after this has happened and i got cleaned up and stopped shaking from adrenaline and being scared shitless. I started cleaning up the downstairs and fixing what i could around the house, setting out blowers, and drying as much as i could. The next day i woke up and bleached the ENTIRE house floors, i cleaned more than i have ever cleaned in my life. So will all said and done, everything is ok now, im just ready for my family to come home, my parents were upset i went in after a dog, but admit they would have done the same damn thing. Today i worked all day, tomorrow i am going to get the house all straightened up for my family to come home, and then im going to RELAX. One thing is for sure, never again will i stay home and work 60 hours a week, watch 7 animals and watch my parents house while everyone goes out of town. I am glad i was the one here when everything happened, but holy shit, most stressful and scary week of my life.

Moving the last week in August. Colorado, here i come. p.s. i get my macbook this week! so hopefully more inspiration to submit things, with two jobs its been kinda tough to do so.
